Mrs. Laura Ann Dickerson, 65, died at 11:30 PM Saturday at her home, 316 North Street. She had been ill several months. Born Nov. 2, 1883 in Montgomery county, she was the daughter of Alec and Rachael Keller. She was married in 1907 to Samuel W. Maxwell, who died, and in 1922 to George W. Dickerson, Jr. now a retired mail carrier. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle church here. Surviving are the husband; a son Lawrence Maxwell of near Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lucas and Mrs. Cora Fields, both of Lafayette; seven stepchildren, Karl, Phillip, Edward, Ralph and Paul Dickerson, and Mrs. Mary Burke of Crawfordsville and Walter Dickerson of Lake Worth, Fla; two brothers, Alvora Keller of near Crawfordsville and George Keller of Waynetown; a sister, Elizabeth Weir of near Crawfordsville, and several grandchildren. A daughter, Maude, and three sisters and eight brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Calvary Tabernacle church with Rev. Lester Wright in charge. Burial will be in Weir cemetery west of here. Friends may call at the Hunt and Son funeral home until an hour before services. - kbz
